Farhan Ahmed has etched a new record in England’s domestic cricket.
Farhan is the younger brother of England's international player Rehan Ahmed.
Representing Nottinghamshire, Farhan took 10 wickets in a County Championship match.
He achieved the milestone against Surrey at Trent Bridge.
At 16 years of age, he is also the youngest ever to record this feat.
Farhan found his first wicket in the 63rd over of Surrey’s first innings, dismissing Ryan Patel.
The Nottinghamshire bowler finished the innings with figures of 7/140.
Farhan made ample impact in his second bowling spell, scalping 3 wickets.
He dismissed Jordan Clark, Rory Joseph Burns and Dom Sibley.
Farhan’s heroics weren’t enough to seal a victory as the match ended in a draw.
