Farmer's Protest | From security arrangements to farmers; demands: All you need to know
The Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha are spearheading the Farmers' Protest 2.0.
To reinforce the border areas, multiple layers of barricades, including wires, nails, substantial concrete blocks, and containers, have been strategically positioned along the entry points to the national capital.
The farmers are requesting guaranteed floor prices, also referred to as minimum support price or MSP, enabling them to sell the majority of their produce at government-controlled wholesale markets or mandis.
The protesting farmers tried to break the multi-layered barricades using their tractors and hand weapons.
