The cost of living in Tokyo is 47.9 percent less expensive than in New York without rent and Japan has a visa exemption arrangement with 70 countries and regions that allows visitors to stay for up to 90 days, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Tokyo is also home to 29 Fortune 500 companies and offers digital nomads the opportunity to work in one of the largest urban economies in the world.

Also, Seoul is 27.4 percent less expensive than New York without rent.
Kuala Lumpur has recorded a 101 percent growth among digital nomads this year.
The second Malaysian city on the list has a growth rate of 96 percent this year.

Manila has reported a 60 percent growth this year when it comes to interest among global digital nomads.
Between 2018 and 2022, Hanoi recorded a growth of 37 percent among digital nomads and in 2023, it witnessed a growth of 58 percent.
The second Vietnamese city to make it to the list has recorded a growth of 55 percent this year.
The only Indian city to make it to the list, Delhi has witnessed a growth of41 percent this year.
