Former England cricketer Graham Thorpe passed away at the age of 55.

Thorpe played 100 Tests and 82 ODIs in his glorious 12-year-long international career.

In Tests, he scored 6744 runs, along with 16 tons, at an average of 44.66.

Thorpe scored 114 not out in the second innings of his maiden Test against Australia in 1993.

In 82 ODIs, Thorpe scored 21 half-centuries.

The left-handed batter represented Surrey from 1988 to 2005.

Thorpe had spent the entire 17-year first-class career of his at Surrey.

He notched 49 first-class centuries and averaged 45.04.

His career-best score in international cricket was 200 against New Zealand in a Test played in 2002.

Thorpe represented England in the 1996 and 1999 ODI World Cups.

Thorpe announced his retirement from international cricket in 2005.
