Copenhagen retained its second position after scoring well in stability, education and infrastructure categories.
Zurich
After acquiring top points in healthcare and education, Zurich secured the third position in the list. It is also the global centre for banking and finance.
Melbourne
This Australian city is ranked number four on the Global Liveability Index 2024. It has scored 95 points in stability and culture and environment and full marks in healthcare and education.
Calgary
This city has acquired top marks in stability, healthcare and education. It has earned the fifth position on the list. It shared the position with Switzerland’s Geneva.
Sydney, Vancouver
The seventh position on the list is a tie between Australian city Sydney and Canadian city Vancouver. Both the cities scored a perfect 100 in healthcare and education.
Osaka, Auckland
The ninth position on the list is also a tie between Japan's Osaka and New Zealand's Auckland. While Osaka grabbed the perfect score in stability, healthcare and education, Auckland mustered the perfect score in education.
