Virat Kohli Former Indian cricket team captian Virat Kohli has the most number of followers on Instagram. He has a massive following of 271 million on the photo-sharing app. Recently, he was in news after rumours of him and his family moving to London floated.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas The 'Desi Girl' of Indian cinema remains the second most followed Indian celebrity on the Gram. She has a total of 91.8 million followers. After working for several years in Bollywood she is now ruling hearts in Hollywood.

Shraddha Kapoor Indian actor Shraddha Kapoor, who is basking in the success of Stree 2, has now become the third most followed celebrity with 91.5 million followers on Instagram. She has given several hits like Aashique 2, Chhichhore, Ek Villian among others. 

PM Narendra Modi Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a following of 91.3 million on the Gram now. He is  is far ahead of prominent politicians including Congress’ Rahul Gandhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, and even world leaders including US President Joe Biden.

Alia Bhatt Alia Bhatt is the fifth most followed Indian on Instagram. She has 85.1 million followers. With movies like Highway, Darlings, Raazi and Dear Zindagi among many others to her credit, it is now doubt that she is popular in among the masses.

Katrina Kaif Kaif has a following of 80.4 million users on Instagram. Her choice of movies and the launch of her own beauty brand 'Kay Beauty' among users can be one of the contributing factors for her popularity on social media. 

Deepika Padukone With a massive following of 79.8 million followers Deepika is seventh most followed Indian on Instagram. She has movies like Kalki 2898 AD, Pathaan and Fighter in her kitty and all of these have been box office hits.

Neha Kakkar Indian playback singer Neha Kakkar has a following of 79 million. She has given her voice to several bollywood and pop songs in India including Badri ki Dulhania, Coca Cola and Garmi.

Urvashi Rautela She has an active following of 73 million on Instagram. Rautela has landed in soup many a times and has been trolled for her posts. The most recent incident was when she was admitted to a hospital for a minor cut.
