Tasty Ukadiche Modak Recipe

For the filling, roast 1 cup grated coconut on medium heat.
Add ¾ cup grated jaggery, 1 pinch saffron, 1/8 tsp nutmeg, and ¼ tsp cardamom to the mixture.
For the dough, boil water. Add 1 tsp ghee and salt. Add 1 cup of rice flour and cook.
Knead the dough when cool and make small balls.
Coat the inside of the modak mould with ghee and spread the dough.
Add 2 tsp of stuffing to the mould and seal it.
Steam the modak for 10 minutes on low to medium flame.
Let it cool for 5 minutes and enjoy.
