Gond and Gulkand ke ladoos are not only good in taste but offer numerous health benefits. Try this easy recipe to make these healthy gond and gulkand ladoos at home.
Ingredients Gond (acacia gum) - 200 gm Whole wheat flour - 3 cups Sugar - 3 tbsp Ghee - 2 tbsp Almonds - 1/2 cup Pista - 1/2 cup Cashew nuts - 1/2 cup Dates - 1/2 cup Gulkand - 1/2 cup Cardamom powder - 2 tsp
Step 1 Heat some ghee in a non-stick pan add all the nuts except dates and shallow fry on a low flame. Cool and coarsely crush the nuts in a blender and keep it aside.
Step 2 Heat more ghee in a kadhai and add gond to it. Mix gently till the gond gets puffed. Now strain the fried gond and cool.
Step 3 Heat the same strained ghee, add whole wheat flour, and cook. Add sugar and green cardamom powder to it and mix properly. Rough chop the dates and add gulkand to it. Mix
Step 4 Take a large mixing bowl. Put the whole wheat mixture, coarsely chopped nuts, and fried gond into it. Mix all the ingredients together to get a binding texture.
Step 5 Now, take some of the mixtures and shape them like a laddu by stuffing the gulkand mixture in the centre. Garnish with crushed gond and chopped almond.
