Apple recently revealed the look of its first retail store in India which is likely to open at the end of this month.
The retail store is located in Reliance Jio World Drive mall, in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) area.
Ahead of its opening, the retail store's lease agreement details have surfaced online.
As per the agreement accessed by data analytic firm CRE Matrix & assessed by the Economic Times, 21 brands will not be able to open shops or have advertisements near the Apple retail store.
As per CRE Matrix anchor stores do ask for certain exclusions with competing brands which landlords agrees to, but it is unusual to have such a long list of competing brands.
