Gujarati rice rotla can be made with leftover rice, wheat flour, green chilies, chopped onion, and some spices. Try this tasty recipe at home.
Rice - 1 cup
Atta - 1/2 cup
Onion, finely chopped - 1
Green chillies, chopped - 4
Curd - 2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/4 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt - As per taste
Coriander leaves - A handful of
Oil - For cooking
Ingredients
Add the rice to a bowl. Add atta, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, curd, red chilli powder, chaat masala, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
Step 1
Shape the mixture into a dough as you normally would.
Step 2
Take a small portion of the dough and roll it out evenly using a rolling pin.
Step 3
Grease the tawa with some oil, and place the prepared rotla on it.
Step 4
Cook until golden brown and crispy. Flip and cook the other side, and your rice rotla is ready to be relished.
