Healthy Avalakki Akki Rotti Recipe for Breakfast

Ingredients

Aval poha: 1 cup    Tamarind: 1/4 cup    Chopped seaweed: 2 tbsp    Onion: 1 (finely chopped)    Green chillies: 3 (chopped)    Ginger: As required (finely chopped)    Curd: 2 tablespoons    Coconut: 2 tbsp (finely chopped)    Fenugreek, coriander leaves: as required (chopped)    Cumin: 1 tbsp    Ghee: As required quantity    Salt: As needed

First, take a cup of aval, add the required amount of water, and filter it thoroughly two or three times.

 Sift the aval twice, drain the water completely, put it in a vessel, and keep it pounded for 5 minutes.

 Next, take tamarind, gram flour, green chillies, ginger, curd, onion, coconut, curry leaves, coriander leaves, cumin, and the required amount of salt, and mix well.

Then add the required amount of water and mix everything together.

Now take a little of the dough and roll it into a slightly larger ball. 

Then apply oil to the banana leaf and gently pat the dough ball.

Next, place the tawa in the oven, and when it is hot, put the beaten dough in, add some ghee, and cook until both sides are cooked well.
