Healthy Lauki Thepla Recipe For Breakfast

1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup finely grated bottle gourd 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander 1/4 cup curd 1 tbsp garlic-ginger-green chilli paste 1 tbsp sesame seeds 1/4 tsp turmeric powder 1/2 tsp chilli powder 1 tsp coriander-cumin seeds powder 1/2 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp oil Salt to taste Whole wheat flour for rolling 4 tsp oil for cooking

Ingredients

Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl along with ¼ cup water.

Knead it well to make a soft dough.

Divide the dough into 15 equal portions.

Roll out each portion thinly into circle using a little wheat flour for rolling.

Heat a non-stick tava and cook each thepla using ¼ tsp oil till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.

Serve the lauki thepla hot with your side of favourites such as raita, chutney or ketchup.
