Hero launches its priciest bike ‘Mavrick 440’in India

Unveiled at Hero World 2024, the Mavrick 440 is now launched in India. It’s priced between Rs 1.99 lakh-2.24 lakh, making it Hero’s priciest bike.
The Mavrick sports an air-/oil-cooled, 440cc, single-cylinder engine. It delivers 26hp at 6,000rpm and 36Nm at 4,000rpm, with 90% torque from 2,000rpm.
Powerful Engine
Like the Harley-Davidson X440, the Mavrick features a 6-speed gearbox. It also includes a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother gear changes.
Gearbox Details
The Mavrick’s main frame mirrors the Harley X440. However, it uses a simpler 43mm telescopic fork upfront for better handling.

With a ground clearance of 175mm, the Mavrick is designed for Indian roads. It rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends.

The Mavrick comes in three variants: base, mid, and top. The base variant is white with spoked wheels, while the mid and top variants offer more features.

Despite being Hero’s most expensive bike, the Mavrick 440 is more affordable than the Harley-Davidson X440. It competes with Royal Enfield and Honda models.
Competitive Pricing
Bookings for the Mavrick are open for a token amount of Rs 5,000. Deliveries will start from April 15, making it a hot pick for bike enthusiasts.

Customers booking before March 15, 2024, will receive accessories and merchandise worth Rs 10,000. This offer adds to the excitement around the Mavrick’s launch.
