Mix equal parts of lemon juice and salt. Lemon’s citric acid and salt’s abrasive texture help in gently scraping off the colours from the skin.
Coconut oil loosens the colour particles due to its deep penetrating properties and makes it easier to wash them off.
Make a paste using besan (gram flour) and curd. Apply on the colored areas and let it dry before washing.
Apply fresh tomato pulp on the stained areas and leave it for 15-20 minutes before washing.
Make a paste with Multani mitti (Fuller’s Earth) and water, apply it on the colored areas, and let it dry before rinsing.
Apply a thick layer of aloe vera gel on the stained skin and leave it overnight or for a few hours before washing.
Baking soda neutralizes the acid-alkali balance of the skin, aiding in colour removal.
Massage mustard oil on the body before taking a bath. It helps in removing colours while keeping the skin moisturized.
Apply a paste of rice flour and milk, let it dry and then wash it off. Rice flour acts as a scrub and milk softens the skin.
Mash ripe papaya to make a pulp and apply it on the skin. After 20 minutes, wash it off.
