Holi is just around the corner. During the day, people visit family, and friends and enemies gather to talk, eat, drink, and indulge in Holi treats. 

Here are five vegetarian Indian snacks you can prepare this Holi.

Dahi Bhalla

Dahi bhalla is a yogurt-based chaat, which is served with sweet and spicy chutney and spongy bhallas, seasoned with chaat masala and roasted cumin powder.

Papdi Chaat

Fried and crispy papdis topped with a pool of sweetened yogurt, fresh chutneys and chaat masala.

Aloo Tikki

Flat potato patties with a yummy filling of mashed potatoes mixed with a melange of aromatic spices, daal and other condiments. Serve them with coriander or tamarind chutney.

Pakoda

Add small chunks of cauliflower, potatoes, or onions, along with a dash of salt and chilli in besan. Fry the ingredients in heated oil and serve them with green coriander chutney.

Multigrain Sev Puri

Sev puri is a delicious snack packed with the goodness of green beans, potato, coriander, tomatoes, mint sauce and tamarind sauce.
