Cooking gas is an essential part of our household, as it is needed for preparation of food daily.

Sometimes when the cylinder gas runs out all of a sudden, it becomes a problem for many.

People try to check the remaining gas usually by observing the flame, or checking the weight of the cylinder. But this method is not always reliable at all.

Here is an easy hack, which you can use to find out the amount of LPG left in the gas cylinder accurately.

For this method, you first need a wet or damp cloth.

Then you have to wrap this damp cloth around the gas cylinder, and let it stay there for around a minute.

After that, remove the cloth and observe the changes on the cylinder for the next few minutes.

Upon close observation, you may find that some area of the cylinder is dry, while the remaining is wet.

The dry portion of the cylinder signifies that portion is just empty space, which absorbs the water.

While the wet part shows that it is filled with gas, making the area a bit cold, and therefore harder to dry.
