Gulab Jamun is an all-time favorite dessert option. Here's a step-by-step guide to make it at home.

 Ingredients Semolina - 2.5 cup Ghee - 2 tbsp Elaichi Powder - 1 tsp Sugar - 2 cup Oil (for deep frying) Water (As required) Milk - 2 cup

Step 1 Heat a pan, add sugar along with water, and wait for it to dissolve. Keep stirring until a consistent paste.

Step 2 Now add 1/2 tsp elaichi powder and 1 tbsp milk to prevent sugar from crystalizing.

Step 3 The sugar syrup is ready. Keep it aside.

Step 4 Now heat another pan, add ghee, and roast semolina on low-medium flame. Wait until it turns aromatic and its colour changes.

Step 5 Add sugar and boiled milk (it should be hot) followed by cardamom powder, keep stirring on low flame until milk is absorbed.

Step 6 Once done, cool the mixture and transfer it to a bowl. Spread some oil/ghee on your palm and start making balls from the dough.

Step 7 Heat oil in a pan and deep fry these balls. Keep frying until the balls turn brown and golden.

 Step 8 Drop the deep-fried Gulab jamuns in the prepared sugar syrup.

Step 9 Wait for 30-40 minutes Serve and enjoy!
