How To Make Makhana Chaat At Home

250 grams makhana    2 tablespoons desi ghee (clarified butter)    Red chilli powder (as per taste or 1/4 teaspoon)    Half teaspoon roasted cumin seeds    Half teaspoon of ground black pepper    Half a teaspoon rock salt (or as per taste)    Pomegranate seeds for garnishing

Ingredients:

Heat a pan over medium heat. Add desi ghee to the pan and let it heat up.

Once the ghee is slightly hot, add red chilli powder and ground black pepper to it. Stir well.

Add roasted cumin seeds and rock salt to the mixture and mix thoroughly.

Now, add the makhana to the pan and fry it for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously.

Roast the makhana until it becomes crispy and golden brown.

Once done, transfer the roasted makhana to a bowl and let it cool down.

Once cooled, add pomegranate seeds to the makhana for garnishing, enhancing both the appearance and taste of the chaat.

This simple yet flavorful makhana chaat is ready to be enjoyed during fasting or as a nutritious snack at any time of the day.
