How To Make Pink Sauce Pasta At Home

Pink sauce pasta is a yummy combination of the creaminess of cheese with zesty tomato sauce.

Ingredients:

01 Penne pasta - 500 gm

02 Olive oil - 2 tbsp

03 Butter - 2 tbsp

04 Veggies of your choice (blanched) - 200 gm

05 Onion (finely chopped) - 4

06 Tomatoes (finely chopped) - 4

07 Onion (finely chopped) - 4

08 Tomatoes (finely chopped) - 4

Ingredients:

01 Fresh cream - 3 cups

02 Salt (according to taste)

03 Black pepper - 1 tbsp

04 Chilli flakes - 2 tsp

05 Grated cheese - 200 gm

06 Basil leaves

Boil water in a large vessel, add pasta and salt to it when it starts to boil. Water should be enough to dissolve the pasta.

When done, transfer the pasta to a plate and toss with olive oil.

Now in a large pan, add butter and olive oil. Let the butter melt and then add onions to cook until they become translucent.

Now, add garlic and tomatoes. Cook until they turn soft.

Add the tomato puree, chilli flakes, and cheese to the pan and toss well.

Step 5

When mixed well, add fresh cream and quickly mix to avoid curdling.

Mix it well and then the sauce will be ready.

Add blanched vegetables and pasta to the fresh sauce and mix well. Sprinkle black pepper and basil leaves. Your pink sauce pasta is ready.
