During the winter season, most of the plants go into a dormant state, which affects their growth. At this time, it becomes important to keep a check on the amount of water that is given to the indoor plants.

Mulch the Plants

It becomes essential to mulch the plants in winters because this maintains the temperature in the soil by absorbing excess moisture around the plants and provides adequate warmth to the roots of the plants.
