How to Stop Stressing Over Board Exam Results

Board exams cause a great deal of stress and anxiety to students. Even after the examination is over, thoughts continue to plague them.

It is common for pupils to get worried about the results, and whether they score as per expectations. Here are four effective ways to alleviate stress ahead of result day.

Don’t dwell on the past

After you are through with the 10th and 12th examinations, make it a point to not think about it. What is done is done, you cannot undo it. Instead, let go of the past and think of the future ahead.

Don’t keep calculating

Some kids have the habit of going through question papers even after their examinations are over. It is crucial to remain stress-free after an exam is over. So, stop running through question papers over and over again.

Think about future

After the 10th examination, pupils sometimes decide to change schools. Meanwhile, after the 12th examination, students are likely to think about their future prospects. This line of thought is crucial for a student.

Pursue hobbies

Post 10th and 12th examinations, you will get a long vacation. It is a great time to pursue your hobby and take some time out for yourself. Join a dance class, take up swimming lessons, or learn painting in your free time.
