ICC ODI  World Cup 2027: Venue, Dates, Qualification

South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia will jointly host the 13th edition.

14 teams will compete at the event, scheduled for October-November.

The top 8 sides in the ICC ODI rankings will earn direct qualification.

Hosts South Africa and Zimbabwe automatically qualify.

The remaining four teams will be decided through the qualifying campaign.

Since Namibia is not a full ICC member, they will have to play in the Africa Qualifiers.

In the league stage, there will be two groups featuring 7 teams each.

The top three teams of both groups will advance to the Super Six round.

They will play each other in a single round-robin format.

Like the 1999 edition, the points carry forward (PCF) system will be used in the Super Six round.
