India recently defeated Australia 4-1 in a five-match T20I series 

This was India's first series win with Suryakumar Yadav as skipper 

There were several takeaways from the series which acted as a crucial buildup for the 2024 T20 World Cup. We take a look at five of those takeaways 

Rinku Singh proved himself as an able finisher on more than one occasion during the series, including a knock of 46 in the fourth T20I  

Having been dropped for the upcoming T20I series against South Africa, Axar Patel gave a reminder to the selectors with six wickets in the series 

Ravi Bishnoi had a brilliant series, finishing as the top wicket-taker with nine scalps  

While he went for 40 runs or more in each of the three games he played, Arshdeep Singh was influential in the final over of Australia's chase in the fifth T20I, conceding just three runs
