Indian Squad For Women's Asia Cup T20 2024 Announced

Team India, who are in Group A in the tournament, will be playing their group stage matches against Pakistan, UAE, Nepal on July 19, 21, 23 respectively.

Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is to lead the squad in Asia Cup 2024, with Smriti Mandhana assisting as the vice captain.

Big-hitter Shafali Verma might be seen opening for India with Mandhana.

Deepti Sharma, currently one of the best all-rounders in women's cricket, is undoubtedly a part of the squad.

Team India plan on boosting the middle order by adding Jemimah Rodrigues and wicketkeeper batter Richa Ghosh in the troop.

Another wicketkeeper option, Uma Chetry and top-order batter Dayalan Hemalatha are also part of the 15-member squad.

Pooja Vastrakar, Arundhati Reddy and Renuka Singh Thakur form the fast bowling department.

Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil, Sajana Sajeevan and Asha Sobhana are the spin additions to the 15-member squad.

Shweta Sehrawat, Saika Ishaque, Tanuja Kanwer and Meghna Singh will be accompanying the team to Sri Lanka as traveling reserves.
