PM Narendra Modi flagged off India’s first Vande Bharat Metro on September 16.
The semi-high-speed train has been officially named “Namo Bharat Rapid Rail”.
The Vande Bharat Metro will run between Ahmedabad and Bhuj in Gujarat.
A 334-km journey will be covered in just 5 hours and 45 minutes.
The train will run at a speed of 100-250 kilometres per hour.
The Vande metro service will remain operational six days a week.
The train will have a two-minute halt at each of its nine stops.
It will depart from Bhuj at 5:05 AM and return from Ahmedabad at 5:30 PM.
The train will have 12 AC coaches featuring 3 x 3 bench-type seating.
Each bogie will have wheelchair-equipped toilets and an emergency talk-back system.
