India's top five moments from Day 1 of Paris Paralympics 

India may not have won medals on the opening day of the Paris Paralympics, but there were some fine moments that stood out

We take a look at some of those top moments

Archer Sheetal Devi set a new personal best of 703 points in women's compound archery ranking round, eventually ending as second seed 

Shuttler Sukant Kadam, making his Paralympics debut,  made a winning start in men's singles 

In mixed doubles group match, Suhas Yathiraj and Palak Kohli lost to fellow Indians Nitesh Kumar and Thulasimathi

However, it was heartbreak for taekwondo player Aruna, who fought a knee injury before going down in the last 16 

Track cyclist Jyoti Gaderiya finished 10th in  women’s C1-3 3000m individual pursuit cycling event, missing out on qualifying for medal contests
