T20 World Cup 2024: India's Road to the Semis

India secured their semi-final berth after their Monday night Super Eight win against Australia by 28 runs.

They remained unbeaten throughout the tournament till now and will be facing the defending champions in the semi-finals on Thursday (June 27).

The Rohit Sharma-led side started their T20 World Cup 2024 venture on June 5 by beating Ireland in a low-scoring total.

India's second match was the most anticipated clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on June 10. India remarkably defended 119, winning by 6 runs.

The men in blue took on co-hosts USA on June 12. They restricted USA at 110, before chasing it down in 18.2 overs.

India's last Group A match against Canada was abandoned due to rain. They ended with 7 points, moving to the Super Eight stage as table-toppers.

They aced their Super Eight matches as well. India ended at no. 1 in the Group 1 table, remaining unbeaten till now.

Team India thrashed Afghanistan by 47 runs and then defeated the Aussies by 24 runs, making it to the semi-final.

India's winning streak in T20 World Cup 2024 made them the first country to notch up 150 T20 wins.
