Instant Rice Payasam Recipe in 30 Minutes

Cook 1/2 cup rice in 2 cups water until soft. Add 1 cup milk and simmer for 5 minutes.

Stir in 1/2 cup sugar and cook until dissolved. Mix in 1/4 cup grated coconut (optional).

Add a pinch of cardamom powder and mix well.

Garnish with roasted cashews and raisins.

Serve warm or chilled.
