Move your body Moving your body helps to release endorphins. These make you happy; so, go on a walk, do some jumping jacks or just dance your heart out. 

Get some sleep Sleeping a full eight hours or taking a nap can do wonders for your stress levels. It helps the mind to relax and recover. 

Treat yourself Indulge in some sweet treats or give yourself something to lift your spirits. Go for that massage or the handbag that you have been eyeing for long. 

Enjoy your favourite food The key to enjoying your favourite food is moderation. Have that pastry or the pizza but be sure to not overdo it. This will ensure that it does not affect your health.

Meet a friend A long talk with your friend will help to relieve stress. This will also benefit your mind and heart.

Get outside Going for a walk in your garden or to the park or getting an ice cream will help the mind to relax. The fresh air helps to increase your senses.

Listen to music Listening to your favourite music at a stressful time helps the brain to unwind. You will be in a lighter mood and be able to manage stress better.

Set boundaries It is necessary to identify people who do not add much to your life, on the contrary stress you out. The next step is to set boundaries with such people.
