IPL 2024 Breaks Record With 1000th Six Hit In 57th Game
If hitting six was the parameter, IPL 2024 is turning out to be one of the best.
The competition has already witnessed innumerable records being broken.
On Wednesday, the 1000th six was hit during the game between SRH and LSG.
The record was acheived in the fastest time (13079 balls).
This was 2312 balls fewer than last season.
The feat was achieved in the 57th fixture of this season’s IPL.
Last season, the 1000th six was scored in 67 matches.
Maximums have been scored at an average of 17.81 sixes per game in IPL 2024.
This is also the best rate, surpassing the previous record of15.19 set in 2023.
In 2024, the 1000th six was registered in IPL for the third consecutive edition.
