Several IPL teams have changed their head coaches ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Here we look at which team has appointed whom as their new head coach
Rajasthan Royals have appointed former India head coach Rahul Dravid as their new coach.
Ricky Ponting stepped down as the coach of Delhi Capitals after IPL 2024. He has now been appointed as the new head coach of Punjab Kings.
Mahela Jayawardene has returned as the head coach of Mumbai Indians. He previously served as the coach of Mumbai Indians from 2017 to 2022.
Former India cricketer Hemang Badani has been appointed as the head coach of Delhi Capitals. From 2021 to 2023, Badani served as a fielding coach with Sunrisers Hyderabad and as a batting coach in successive seasons. He also led the Jaffna Kings to two consecutive titles in the Lankan Premier League and was a batting coach for the title-winning Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the inaugural SA20.
