CSK and DC initiated the bidding for Ravindra. PBKS joined at Rs 1.1 crore, but CSK ultimately won.
Ravindra was a standout performer in the World Cup 2023, making a significant impact with his batting.
The 23-year-old scored 578 runs, including centuries against England, Australia, and Pakistan, setting a debutant record.
Ravindra scored 578 runs in 10 innings during the ODI World Cup 2023, ending as the fourth-highest run-getter.
Despite his achievements, Ravindra placed himself in the modest Rs 50 Lakhs category. He can bowl left-arm fingerspin and bat down the order.
In 18 T20Is for New Zealand, Ravindra has scored 145 runs, averaging 13.18 with a strike rate of 117.88.
Ravindra formed a 200-run second-inning partnership with opener Devon Conway in the opening match of the ICC World Cup 2023.
Ravindra hit a century in 82 balls, becoming the youngest centurion for New Zealand in the World Cup.
