IPL Auction: Players SRH, RCB, GT and KKR are likely to target

Ahead of the 2024 IPL Auction which takes place in Dubai, we take a look at some of the players that RCB, SRH, GT and KKR are likely to target

RCB will be eager to bring Mitchell Starc, one of the top bowlers in the recent ICC World Cup, back into their fold though they’ll have to stave off plenty of competition from other franchises

RCB are also a little short when it comes to experience in their bowling department, especially among seamers, and Umesh Yadav could be the answer for the three-time runners-up

SRH haven’t quite been able to find an ideal replacement for spin sensation Rashid Khan, and Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga might just allow them to fill the void

SRH are also on the lookout for an ideal replacement for Harry Brookand will have an eye on Rachin Ravindra — one of the top batters in the World Cup

GT could be on the lookout for Shahrukh Khan, who had been released by Punjab Kings ahead of the the auction and could add a hard-hitting finisher to their lineup

The world-class pacer that he is, Pat Cummins could be an ideal fit for the GT, who will be on the lookout for pacers as well and also have the purse to secure his services should there be a bidding war

KKR might just be eyeing India pacer Harshal Patel, who was among the several players released by RCB, and his cutters might just prove an ideal weapon for the Eden Gardens

KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir is known to go for impact players and he will certainly have CEO Venky Mysore gunning for South Africa’s Gerald Coetzee, who had taken 20 wickets in the World Cup
