Mumbai Indians’ IPL 2024 skipper, Hardik Pandya returns to bowling practice in Gujarat, ahead of the T20 league.
Pandya, recovering from an ankle injury, that he conceded during the ODI World Cup 2023, teases his comeback.
The former Indian vice-captain shared a video on Instagram, Facebook and X, showcasing his bowling skills in the nets.
Pandya's injury has sidelined him from multiple white-ball series, including India’s recently-concluded home series vs Afghanistan.
He expressed his sentiment about the ground, where his journey began. “I'm feeling very good after coming back here,” he said.
“Because (of) the amount of things I've learnt on this ground, it's like a temple for me. What it has taught me is priceless,” he said.
“My journey started literally 17 years back on this very ground. I will make sure everything possible today and every day," the MI captain added.
Amid India's 1st Test against England, Pandya bowling updates on social media has received an overwhelming response.
His Instagram post has already got more than 580k likes, indicating significant anticipation for his return among fans.
