India scripted history on Wednesday when the Lander Module (LM) of Chandrayaan-3 touched down on the lunar South Pole, sparking celebrations across the country.
The historic milestone propelled the country into an exclusive club of four which includes US, China, & erstwhile Soviet Union & making it the first country to land on the uncharted surface.
But did you know, India’s mission to moon is more cost-effective than some recent Hollywood movies.
The total cost of ISRO’s third moon mission is Rs 615 crore (approx. $75 million). This includes Rs 250 crore for propulsion and Rs 365 crore for launch expenses.
