Bumrah has 86 wickets across 21 matches at a 13.76 average and 26.9 strike rate in 2024.
Waqar Younis secured a 14.88 average and a 29.6 strike rate in 1990.
He scalped 96 wickets in 28 matches that year.
Younis also takes the 3rd spot, boasting an average of 19.21 and a strike rate of 30.7 in 1993.
The Pakistan great scalped 91 wickets that year in 30 matches.
In 4th place, we have Mitchell Starc with an average of 21.04 and a strike rate of 33.5 in 2015.
The Australian took 88 wickets in 30 games in 2015.
South Africa’s Mkhaya Ntini is next with a 21.50 average and 34.0 strike rate in 2006.
