Kawasaki launches the 2024 Z900 in India at ₹9.29 lakh, a ₹9,000 increase from the 2023 model.
The Z900 is powered by a liquid-cooled, 948cc, inline-four cylinder motor that produces 125hp at 9,500rpm.
The engine generates 98.6Nm of torque at 7,700rpm, providing ample power for all riding conditions.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist and slip clutch, ensuring smooth gear changes.
Unlike its rivals, the Z900 still uses a cable throttle, not an electronic one.
The bike features a steel trellis frame housing the four-cylinder engine, offering excellent rigidity and handling.
The bike is equipped with a USD fork and monoshock, both adjustable for preload and rebound.
Twin 300mm discs at the front and a 250mm disc at the rear provide reliable stopping power.
The Z900’s TFT dash can be paired with your smartphone via the ‘Rideology’ app for notifications and navigation alerts.
The bike features two power modes, three riding modes, three levels of traction control, and dual-channel ABS.
Despite its higher ex-showroom price, the on-road price of the Z900 in Mumbai is ₹12.72 lakh, less than the Triumph Street Triple R.
