It will replace the Ninja 400 and features a lightweight trellis frame.
The Ninja 500 will be powered by a 451 cc parallel-twin engine.
It is likely to arrive as a completely built unit (CBU).
The superbike will have more torque than the Ninja 400.
The Kawasaki Ninja 500 will come with disc brakes on both ends.
Other features include an LCD instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity.
The bike is expected to be priced at around Rs 5.4 lakh.
It will compete against Aprilia RS 457, Yamaha R3 and KTM RC 390.
