Keto-Friendly Shirataki Rice Recipe For Weight Loss

Shirataki rice, made from the root of the konjac plant, is a low-calorie, low-carb, and fiber-rich ingredient that's perfect for a keto diet. Here's how to prepare it.

Ingredients: • 1 bag of shirataki rice • 2 cups of water • 1 tablespoon of olive oil • 1 small onion, finely chopped • 2 cloves of garlic, minced • Salt and pepper to taste • Optional: herbs and spices of your choice

Rinse the shirataki rice thoroughly and drain well to remove any bitterness.

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and sauté. Then add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add the shirataki rice and water to the saucepan. Boil it in low heat.

Simmer for 10-12 minutes, until the water is absorbed.

Season with salt, pepper, and your choice of herbs and spices. Serve hot and enjoy!
