Ideal Location for Home Temple: North-east corner of the house due to its auspicious connotations
Essential Puja Items: Betel nut, mouli, kumkum, akshat, Ganga jal, water in a copper pot, idol of Lord Ram, desi ghee, incense sticks, sandalwood, flowers, fruits, sweets, camphor, bell, and puja thali.
Puja Rituals: Position the idol of Lord Ram on the altar, draped with a red cloth. Conclude the ritual with aarti using burning camphor.
Practices: Introduce a new idol during Pran Pratishtha on Jan 22. Align the installation with the auspicious Abhijeet Muhurat.
Jalabhishek Ritual and Panchamrit bath: Conduct jalabhishek and panchamrit bath. Keep a regularly lit ghee lamp in front of the deity and face eastward during worship.
Daily Maintenance: Remove flower garlands offered each night, replacing them with fresh ones daily.
