Reason of Fire

The fire started in the kitchen of the seven storey building at 4 A.M when all the residents of the apartment were sleeping.

Reason of Death

Kuwaiti officials stated that the majority of the deaths were caused by smoke inhalation when the Indian workers were sleeping.

Minister Suspended

Dr.Noura AlMashaan, Minister of Public Works and Minister of Municipality of Kuwait has been suspended because of the deadly fire in the apartment.
