Lizelle Lee lit up the Women’s Big Bash League with a record-breaking knock.
The Hobart Hurricanes opener smashed an unbeaten 150 against Perth Scorchers.
Lee struck 12 boundaries and as many sixes off 75 balls in Sydney.
No player was able to hit more sixes than Lee in an innings in WBBL history.
The previous record was held by Brisbane Heat’s Grace Harris.
The Australian all-rounder hit 11 sixes against Perth in the 2023 WBBL.
Lee’s 150 is also the highest individual score in the women’s franchise competition.
Harris remains second on the list for her 136-run knock last season.
Lee is also at level with Sophie Devine for the second-most WBBL centuries.
The South African needs one more to break Alysa Healy’s record of five tons.
