Lockie Ferguson produced a bowling spectacle vs Papua New Guinea on June 17.
The match was played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
It was New Zealand’s final fixture of the T20 World Cup.
Ferguson’s 4-4-0-3 spell helped the Kiwis curb PNG at 78 runs.
He dismissed PNG’s Assad Vala, Charles Amini and Chad Soper.
Ferguson also became the 1st bowler to deliver 4 maidens in the tournament.
The New Zealand pacer is the 2nd cricketer to record this feat.
Canada’s Saad Bin Zafar was the first to bowl 4 maidens and scalp 2 or more wickets.
Zafar had previously recorded 4-4-0-2 against Panama.
The game was hosted in the 2021 T20 World Cup Americas Region Qualifier.
