Maruti Suzuki has launched its new flagship car, the Invicto. This is also the company’s first car in the premium MPV segment.
The prices of the new Maruti Suzuki Invicto start from Rs 24.79 lakhs and go up to Rs 28.42 lakhs.
The Invicto is powered by a 2-liter four-cylinder strong-hybrid engine with an average of around 23 kmpl.
The Invicto will be offered in two variants: Zeta+ and Alpha+, and comes in two seating configurations: 7 seater and 8 seater.
Based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, the Invicto will also be built at Toyota’s Bidadi plant alongside the Hycross.
The Invicto is the eighth product in Maruti Suzuki's Nexa dealership.
The Invicto shares most of its design language with the Hycross, but gets a slightly different grille and headlights.
The only difference between the Invicto and the Hycross, in profile, is the design of the 17-inch alloy wheels.
In terms of dimensions, the Invicto is identical to the Innova Hycross and will be offered in both 7 & 8 seat configurations.
The car has sharp taillights, a signature front grill, and all-black interiors.
Invicto features a powered tailgate, a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, panoramic sunroof, and 6 airbags.
The Invicto will rival the Toyota Innova Hycross and can be compared to similarly priced three-row SUVs like Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio N, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, and Tata Safari.
