Maserati unveils its first electric car, the GranCabrio Folgore, marking a new chapter in its history.

The Folgore’s powertrain uses Formula E-derived technology for better energy flow and efficiency.

Three 300-kw motors deliver up to 1,200 hp and 1,350 Nm of torque across all four wheels.

The motor layout features one motor up front and two at the rear axles.

Lightweight Body

The car uses lightweight materials like aluminium and magnesium, making up over 65% of the car.

Fastest EV Convertible

With a 0-100 km/h time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h, it’s the fastest electric convertible.

Independent Control

Each motor can be independently controlled, allowing for RWD or AWD driving.

Power Distribution

The setup allows for 100% power distribution, even sending up to 400 hp to a single rear wheel.

Energy Recovery

The system provides regen levels of up to 0.65 g, recovering energy during braking.

Battery Capacity

The 92.5 kWh battery, made in Turin, can continuously deliver around 750 hp to the wheels.

Luxurious Features

The car boasts digital displays, multimedia systems, connected features, and seating for four adults.
