Perry was found dead in the pool on October 28, 2023, at his Los Angeles home.
The cause of death was initially suspected to be an accidental overdosing of ketamine.
An investigation has now led to 5 arrests.
The Department of Justice pointed at a 'criminal network' which includes Perry’s assistant and doctors.
Among the 5 arrested are Perry's doctors - Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez.
The doctors reportedly worked with the actor's live-in assistant Kenneth Iwamasa.
A middleman named Erik Fleming allegedly used to obtain ketamine and sell it to the Friends actor.
The main drug trafficker arrested in the case is Jasveen Sangha, also known as 'Ketamine Queen.'
Chavez, Iwasama and Fleming have pleaded guilty to various charges.
"They knew what they were doing was risking great danger to Mr Perry, but they did it anyways," said Attorney Martin Estrada.
