MHADA Offers 2,030 Flats in Prime Mumbai Locations

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA)’s Mumbai board has launched a lottery for over 2,030 flats in prime locations like Malad, Powai, Vikhroli, Goregaon, and Wadala in September.
Flats are available in EWS, LIG, MIG, and HIG categories, with prices ranging from Rs 29 lakh to Rs 7.58 crore.
The online applications will start on August 9, 2024, and end on September 4, 2024, at 11:45 PM. Lottery results will be announced on September 13, 2024, at 11 AM.
Out of 2,030 flats, 768 are MIG, 627 are LIG, 359 are EWS, and 276 are HIG. MIG units are mostly 2 BHK, while HIG features larger 3 BHK apartments.
HIG flats range from Rs 1 crore to Rs 7.58 crore in areas like Juhu and Malad. These flats will include modern amenities such as swimming pools, EV charging stations, and solar panels.
A 3 BHK flat in Goregaon is available for Rs 1.33 crore, providing a more affordable option within the HIG category.
EWS is for incomes up to Rs 6 lakh, LIG for Rs 6-9 lakh, MIG for Rs 9-12 lakh, and HIG for above Rs 12 lakh per year.
