Preparing mutton fry — popularly known as mutton sukka — isn't that tricky.
First, put the mutton pieces into a pressure cooker.
Add salt, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, water and let it cook.
After a few whistles, set the mutton aside and allow the steam to escape.
Check if the meat has softened, then transfer it to a bowl and let it cool.
Add chilli powder, pepper powder and garam masala to the cooked mutton.
Marinate the mutton well with the spices, add lemon juice and salt to taste.
Preheat coconut oil in a kadai, stir in chopped garlic, curry leaves and green chillies.
Now add the marinated mutton chunks into the kadai.
Fry until it's golden brown and reaches a desired semi-dry texture.
Serve it hot as a snack or enjoy it with steamed rice or roti.
