The Portugal and Al Nassr player emerged as the most searched athlete this year with 199.4 million searches

#2 Neymar

Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain player drew second-highest searches in 2023. He raked in 140.9 million searches

#3 Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi made his move to Inter Miami from PSG this year. The Argentina player was searched 104.4 million times

#4 LeBron James

The Los Angeles Lakers star was the fourth most searched. The influential NBA player was searched 72.1 million times

#5 Virat Kohli

India cricketer Kohli reached record ODI centuries this year. He was searched 68 million times

#6 Kylian Mbappe

The French and PSG striker Kylian Mbappe came close to signing for Real Madrid. It didn't happen but he was searched 63.7 million times
