As the opposition parties meet in Bengaluru to discuss their strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP-led NDA is gearing up for a massive show of strength in Delhi on Tuesday.
The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will hold a meeting in Delhi on Tuesday with 38 parties, including several new entrants, to display its strength and unity.
The meeting comes amid a get-together of opposition parties in Bengaluru to discuss a possible anti-BJP front for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
The BJP is aiming to retain its majority in the lower house for a third consecutive term and is banking on regional parties to boost its prospects in key states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The Congress has mocked the BJP for reviving the NDA, which it said had become a “ghost”, and claimed that the opposition unity would be a “game changer” for the Indian political scenario.
